I recently completed the program and overall, I had a very positive experience. The resources provided, textbooks, online modules, and lab were incredibly useful and added depth to my learning experience. Our instructors Regina and Dorian were knowledgeable and engaging. They brought real-world examples into the lessons, which helped bridge the gap between our lessons and practice. I particularly appreciated their willingness to answer questions and provide additional support. The assignments were challenging but fair, pushing you to apply what you learn. The feedback provided was constructive and helped me improve my understanding of the subject. The assessments were also well-aligned with the course objectives, ensuring that I was tested on the most important aspects of the material. This experience has been a once in a life time opportunity. The instructors were wonderful and amazing, I looked forward to every class. Diana, Reagan, Raquel and Klimmet would answer questions, and provide real world experiences to tie into the lessons. When it came to the externship, I felt prepared and ready to be in an office. Ms. Diana and Ms. Raquel have been beyond helpful and great teachers. I have learned a lot in their classes and have made class very comfortable and fun and they take the time to teach you everything even if you need the extra little help and will sit with you until you’re comfortable with it . This class was very fun, very hands on. The teachers are so nice and they really want you to succeed, they ask you if you need help with anything and they just give the best vibes ever, jolynn gave the best tips and tricks that helped me learn she also gave 100% to her student. Amazing course! Mrs. Holly and Ms. Charity are wonderful instructors. Always willing to answer any questions, offer extra help and provide tutoring time. Both are extremely knowledgable, with 20+ years of experience. Despite the program being a shorter program, I learned so much. The atmosphere in class was always positive and inclusive. The class size was also very small (six including myself) so you get plenty of personal instruction. Melissa is an attentive manager, she checked in with me often and offered help in finding an office to extern at. As long as you do your part in the online portion you will do well in the class! This is an amazing place, I have learn so much. They were very welcoming and helpful. At first I was a little spectacle at how the program just 9 weeks and I wasn’t sure how we would learn all the material in such a short time. But I did learn so much is all thanks to the instructors, they are amazing. Ms.Dana ,Ms.Charity, Ms.Holly were absolutely the best. They were straight forward and if any questions they were more than welcome to answer or if you needed any help with something they will help you go step by step which was amazing. Over all I really do recommend this program is short but it was great, you will get a lot of knowledge and the instructors are amazing and also I got very lucky to work with my other classmates they were incredible, we all help each other and cheer each other up. Just finished my last day at HoustonDentalAssistantAcademy in Katy! Shout out to Dana and her team for making sure that I feel confident enough to pursue my future in the dental field. Classes were easy flowing even with all of the knowledge you have to learn. Your teacher stays in touch with you, and you never feel like you’re asking for too much help. This is the most amazing place I have ever been. It feels like home as soon as you walk through the door the atmosphere is so welcoming. Mrs. Dana was absolutely the best she pushes all her students to be the greatest version of themselves. Mrs.Angela is the sweetest teacher who teachers her student with so much patience and she really breaks it down and explain it so well I love her! And Ms. Charity is sooo kind and she teaches so well she made learning how to chart very easy for me I really appreciate her for that. This school is somewhere I would definitely redo all over. My experience at the Houston Dental Assistant Academy was surprisingly amazing. I was little spectacle at how short the program was and not knowing how anyone would be able to pick up so much knowledge in such a short amount of time.
